Previous Month, a report suggests that HMD Global may unveil six smartphones at MWC 2018 and also teardown of an official Nokia camera app reveal Nokia 4 and Nokia 7 Plus smartphone. Now, Nokia 7 Plus exposed online in China with design and major specification and reveal that it is the first smartphone from HMD Global which gets 18:9 aspect ratio.
Like Nokia 6(2018), Nokia 7 plus ditch down the physical Home Button and have a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner below the Camera.
Well, the previous report suggests 5.2-inch display for Nokia 7 Plus but now according to the specification, it has a 6-inch IPS LCD display with 2160 X 1080p resolution protected with Gorilla Glass and 18:9 aspect ratio.
Also, the previous model, Nokia 7, comes with Snapdragon 630 processor the Plus version comes with more powerful Snapdragon 660 processor coupled with Adreno 512 graphics chip.
The Nokia 7 Plus have 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage which is expandable via MicroSD and there is a possibility that it may come in two variant as original Nokia 7 comes in 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM variant.
Furthermore, Nokia 7 plus appear to have a dual camera setup on the back features 12MP and 13MP with Carl Zeiss optics and 2x Optical Zoom. The front-facing have a Nokia Lumia like Pro mode having 16MP Zeiss camera with Tetra cell technology.
Nokia 7 Plus runs on Android Oreo out of the box with UI modification and having USB type-C charging with Quick Charge. There is no official announcement about when the device hit the market but HMD Global hold an event at Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art on February 25 one day before Mobile World Congress begins.
