MWC 2018: Sony announced Xperia XZ2 and XZ2 Compact

Sony as promised announced Xperia XZ2 and Xperia XZ2 compact at an Unpacked event in MWC in Barcelona Spain. With this Sony brings a new design for its flagships with curved sides and aching backs. The fingerprint scanner moves to the back.

Both Xperia XZ2 and Xperia XZ2 Compact are the first from Sony to feature 18:9 aspect ratio with Full HD+ resolution. Both are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 from front and back side with an anti-twist metal frame. Both have almost same specification like powered with the same processor, runs on Android Oreo 8.0 respectively. Xperia XZ2 comes with Qi Wireless charging.

Sony Xperia XZ2 compact comes with anti-scratch polycarbonate body with a front-facing stereo speaker with S-Force Front Surround.

Sony Xperia XZ2 will available in Liquid Black, Liquid Silver, Deep Green, Ash Pink color and Xperia XZ2 Compact will available Black, White Silver, Moss Green, and Coral Pink color. Price is not revealed yet for both devices but both will start to roll out globally from March 2018.
