According to a report by Georgian website Vortex.GE, Sony plans to unveil three new high-end flagship smartphone at MWC 2018 which means Sony event at CES 2018 may only bring mid-range and lower-end devices like recently leaked XA2, XA2 Ultra, and Xperia L2.
A report suggests, at MWC, Sony may bring Xperia XZ1 Premium and Xperia XZ1 Plus, both are going to be powered by Snapdragon 845 processor and Xperia XZ1s which is going to be powered by Snapdragon 835 processor.
Sony Xperia XZ1 Premium is the most advanced models that feature a 5.5 inch HDR LCD display with 4K resolution and may come with 6GB RAM with 128GB internal storage. The device may join the famous trend of 2017 i.e dual camera as it comes with a 12MP dual rear camera with a Biometric fingerprint scanner on the back and 13MP front-facing camera.
Sony Xperia XZ1 Plus and Xperia XZ1s have almost same features which include HDR LCD display with FHD resolution and 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage. Also, a 12MP dual rear camera with a fingerprint scanner on the back and 13MP front-facing camera.However, Sony Xperia XZ1 Plus features a 5.5-inch display while Xperia XZ1s features a 5.2-inch display.
It makes sense as a new premium model are likely going to announce after one year at MWC 2018 by Sony. Let’s wait for late February when MWC is going to happen and Sony introduce these devices at an event.
